Hello

I've got several servers which have had no issues in the past checking for and installing updates.

All of a sudden it's come to the monthly install and as soon as I click Check for updates, it errors out with error 80072f8f

All internet articles suggest date/time issues but these servers have been in used for along time and have checked date/times and timezones etc.

I've also reset Windows update components, run the troubleshooter, reset the software distribution folder, still without any luck.

Anyone got any other ideas?

I've also done a clean install of server 2012 and even before changing any settings, I still get the same error.

Thanks in Advance.

I seem to re-call a similar discussion last week. Try adding proxy settings to the Metro/Windows Store using one of the following methods.

So I ran the netsh import proxy command now it's showing me the available updates - thanks

Will test on others - seems a bit strange never had the issue before
