Exactly, I think it will work well in the end and really its not hard to get rep. Answer a question, just help someone out and also we have some new features lined up to help people get recognition for all the help they provide.

A postcount based status system never works as the worth of the posts is never reflected in a postcount. Its a new thing, people will start to deal rep out soon so I would not worry about gaining rep.

We will see how it plays out but I am for it as I think it will work well.

We should nickname mattx the comeback kid - from the ignamy of being the first regular member to be banned (don't know why he was banned always found him to be a knowledge poster with an element of humour - god doesn't that comment make me sound like David brent!!)

 

and then all of a sudden he's one of the few non-admins with rep points...kudos mattx, you took you're ban like a man and you've initiated the greatest second haf comeback since Liverpool-Milan in champs league final.
