PHAICT2 Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 We have setup a Windows 2012 r2 RDS solution for our staff and it works when connecting from a Windows Machine, or iPAD externally. But for the life of us, we cannot get it working with the Microsoft Remote Desktop App on an imac. When we click Refresh ( remote resources ) nothing happens at all. It just says 'Refreshing Remote Resources'. Any ideas, thanks.
SovietRussia Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Are you using the App from the App Store? We found this error (and many more) when we tried to use the bundled RDC with Office 2011 which won't load NLA.
PHAICT2 Posted June 24, 2015 Author Posted June 24, 2015 Yeah we're using the one downloaded from the App store. Microsoft Remote Desktop with the red/orange square as the icon. It works on the iPad though, which is baffling.
psydii Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 I'm running 8.0.18 and it works fine for me. That said I had terrible troubles with this app over the last 12 months. Every other update seemed to break something either on iPad or OS X. My personal favourite is the bug around setting a gateway via the UI, you have to use a combination of clicking into the box and then the keyboard to select the gateway otherwise it wont set.
