Remove "Get Windows 10" icon from toolbar

Is there a reg hack to remove the "Get Windows 10" icon from toolbar that has started appearing on Windows 7 Machines recently?

Remove update kb3035583 and also make sure you mark it as hide.

easiest one looks to be the folder deletion. Set it up in GPP.

This app has not and will not appear for Domain joined PC's, Microsoft didn't make that very clear.

The get Windows 10 icon has just appeared in the system tray on School PCs. So now Microsoft are inflicting this on Domain connected PCs - not good. Microsoft just want to make our lives more stressful be inflicting this icon. The last thing I need is children clicking on it and starting a Windows 10 install. It looks like it came with last months (March 2016) Windows updates. So now I need to uninstall KB3035583 on all our 160 PC's! to stop this! How dare Microsoft do this. So Microsoft think its OK for Domain users to upgrade their Domain PCs themselves at work schools, doctors surgeries etc etc, what on earth is Microsoft thinking when they inflict this on organisations.

a) you'd need admin rights to upgrade

b) they're thinking that supporting 3 OSes is expensive

It doesn't appear on Enterprise installs either IIRC.

Yep, annoying, had to install Pro on all the computers to upgrade to 10 for free.
