nicholab Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Flash player is not working for non admin user. It IE gets run as Administrator it then works when the user next runs it. I can see from process explorer that on a working user FlashUtil_ActiveX.exe starts up when I load content but it is not loading up on a non working user. Any suggestions?

Arthur Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 Any suggestions? Do you have the latest Flash Player installed for Internet Explorer in Windows 8.1 (KB3065820 / v18.0.0.160)? Direct Download Links Update for Internet Explorer Flash Player for Windows 8.1 (64-bit machine) Update for Internet Explorer Flash Player for Windows 8.1 (32-bit machine)
chazzy2501 Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 throughout the years I've seen some versions of flash do this to us as well, change the version of flash (even a minor version) normally fixes the issue.
andy_nic Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 We have this problem too, had it since January. But only effects the windows 8.1 64bit machines for us. A flat copy of windows 8.1 64bit works fine, which leads me to believe that some old bit software not designed for windows 8 has tried to install flash player and corrupted the flash player install some how. so far I've not found a fix, tried several flash player updates as they have come out and still not resolved the problem.
