You can also change the logo displayed in the top left to your own, simply by replacing the relevant .gif image in the source files.

Thanks for all the replies but i really meant changing some functionality not the superficial stuff e.g. add an additional column of info in the Find Names Dialogue window.

Anyone messed with the dll before?

I didnt think the EULA prohibited developing OWA. Finding it so annoying that there are features i like to provide but no way to do it.

There's some stuff at http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb232199.aspx

about Exchange 2007 OWA but i don't think that will give you what you're looking for.

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/scriptcenter/topics/exchange/exchange_roadmap.mspx has some stuff on the various ways of coding for Exchange 2003 but it doesn't specifically talk about OWA stuff. I'd guess you could kind of write your own version of OWA but that seems like hard work :-)

As far as I can tell, you are allowed to change things (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/327178 talks about the fact you won't get support if you do but that suggest you can change it to your heart's content!)

What are you trying to change in OWA? Could you do it in another way-perhaps just write something using WebDAV to query Exchange?

Yeah rebuilding OWA would be more work then its worth, which is why i wanted to break this one open to make the changes i wanted. At the moment all im looking at is to prefix "=" or "@" when you click send or check names as there doesnt seem to be a way to get owa to do an exact match automatically like Outlook can. Im sure in the future there will be something else that could be a nice feature thats easy enough to do but difficult to integrate into owa.
