andyturpie Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 What OS reboots itself after pressing ctrl-alt-delete?
X-13 Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 What OS reboots itself after pressing ctrl-alt-delete? Windows 3.1 if done twice, 9x if done twice fast. 2
sonofsanta Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 What OS reboots itself after pressing ctrl-alt-delete? Windows ME was the last, I think - once to bring up task manager, again to hard reset. If I was using a Windows ME machine, I'd take it out back and shoot it as well. 1
halbaradkenafin Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Enraged US man shoots his malfunctioning computer - BBC News We all have had the urge to do this.... I don't think I've ever wanted to shoot a computer (throw it out a window maybe) but I'd consider shooting a printer or two.

MatthewL Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Reminds me a burglary at where my Dad used to work on the docks, in the days before it was just one or two standalone computers. One night they were broken into but always remember the monitor sat in the corner after with a bullet hole in (well I presume it was).

DalekSec Posted April 23, 2015 Author Posted April 23, 2015 Was the PC that was shot a Acer or a zoostorm? Neither it was a Dell
sonofsanta Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 There's a photo on the Ars article: Hinch, however, told the Times he has no regrets. "It was glorious," he said. "Angels sung on high."
