GTA Online has become a bit of a mess and after an extended time playing the game, a number of shocking and appalling QA issues are cropping up that never should have happened and are still in place after two years.

 

The real kicker is that GTA Online is actually getting worse and worse with every patch they release, a friend of mine now experiences a zlib call error basically every time he changes session, he has reinstalled the game 3 times now and it works for about an hour before the game corrupts it's own installation.

 

It's shocking, it really is. I'm seriously wondering how long it will take before they start offering compensation for it.

 

OH and the same friend lost his $600k bonus for preordering when they messed up transferring his character, so he contacted Rockstar about it, apparently they couldn't give him that money back (what??) so instead they gave him a 30% discount for purchasing a shark card so that he can buy some money. I was appalled with that response, dunno about you guys.

He has no real issue getting money, he's got almost $2m, but he did pay extra for the bonus after all, so why shouldn't he receive it?

According to Boogie, the EULA has been updated to explicitly ban mods and impose a two week ban even if you use them in single player. Not checked PCMR yet, that subreddit will be going mental at them I'd guess.

 

Annoying because I completed it on PS4 and was kinda looking forwards to climbing Mount Chilliad and punting unsuspecting hikers off the top with a gravity gun.

Rockstar's EULA hasn't been updated since 01/10/2013 on their website.

I love how they chose not to address the issues which plague GTA Online, I crashed 6 times yesterday, 6.
