Fisher Investments seem to have the wrong idea about how much we get paid.

What is this 'Paid' concept you speak of? I'm vaguely aware that I spend my days doing 'stuff' and that a sum of money comes in and goes out again and the bank doesn't foreclose on our house, so I assume I must earn something but I'm told that the government takes most of it in something called 'Tax' and the bank takes the other half in something called a 'mortgage'.

Tell me about it. Just went away for a romantic weekend with the missus* to celebrate 7 years together, and while we were away we spent over £100 on stuff for the kids, £8 on my missus and £0 for me.

 

I've had that Fisher guff arrive in the post to me before. Whatever data they're using for their marketing campaigns, they need to chuck it and start over.

We are on the home stretch re children - two more months and then they will all be out of education and we can stop paying ridiculous amounts of money to keep them fed and working. Not that that will stop us spending money on them still

And in some cases you then get presented with the next gen models commonly known as 'grandchildren' and although these are cheaper to run (and can be handed back if they start making too much noise or mess) it's still quite expensive.
