Our network wasnt planned for the about of devices we have, the Wired network itself is not to bad but the wifi for the students is terrible ( ironically my phone and ipad work everywhere) We have 1:1 ipads and having lots of problems with connecting and with there quality of conections. I have enough ip address's and I have done the simple stuff like rebooting the AP's checking them etc basically I have got the the end of my knowledge and what I am comfortable with testing out. It could be a few things bonjour flooding the network, to things needing to be vlaned to an entire new wifi put in. I'm guessing its doing to wifi and some switch/networks that needs altering. I have been given the go ahead to get in help. Who would you go to for this? A wifi expert or a network expert?

You say that your wired network is not too bad - What is it? Remember that wireless networks do one simple thing - get more people onto your wired network. How would your wired network perform if all of those wireless devices were attached physically? 3. Are you also trying to cope with BYOD? 4. Bonjour may be an issue - Have you VLAN'd off the wireless traffic or is is all flat? HTH
