yep ive tried that ages ago.. that restricts the default context menu on all file explorers however it does not stop the right click on the menu icon at the bottom (taskbar start button)..

yep, imported the group polices already... there's no mention for it in the win10 reference startmenu
-
hmm that doesnt exist in my group policies, that looks more like an XP config

Has any one been able to remove right click on the start menu? ive tried turning off context menus on the start menu + task bar to no avail? is this possible or not ive disabled all the control panel options so its not a biggy just annoying.

Generally speaking should be joined into domain and will give you flexability if you then want to move to clustered setup as that needs to be in the domain.. You need an additional server running dc roles if you join into domain. Example you reboot hyperv server joined into domain.. Cannot find dc because your virtual dc hasn't started = a very long wait before you are able to login locally to start services nightmare.. Ms recommended practice is to have at least 1 domain controller separate to your hyper v server I would always recommend this server setup wise 1 domain controller = dc01 1 hyper v host = host01 1 backup server = Dpm / veeame however usb or nas box will work

its just the usual education support from the involvement ive had- however pointless yet as not all apples distributors have enrolled - annoying our reseller has but their distrubutos havnt so we are stuk waiting for this to happen before we can start to manage our devices (very annoying) apple are helpless as they cant break the chain for enrollment why it has to go through all the channels surely end user and reseller at best.

I use to do this across multiple primary schools.. 1. the server needs to be powerful enough to support the number of virtual servers - CPU and memory + HDs. sometimes 3 or 4 virtual servers DC - DHCP,DNS,AD FILE Server SIMS remeber the key to this is your primary server - high spec and make sure you also get a decent raid card if you go down cheap end servers the raid will be your bottle neck and cause your VM's to slow causing latency on file transfers. everyone will moan the network is going slow ( its the HD Raid Controllers poor performance) server 2012 R2 standard you will need 2 licences - as you can have 1 license and 2 virtual servers under the licesne key. with 2012 r2 you could run replication to nas box or your small server you mention or run DPM on that and have that doing backups - 1 bit of advice i would also keep a standalone DC for disaster recovery and reboots - you DC will be virtual server fails no way of getting DPM to see active directory backups are useless.

its not the course thats expensive its all the kit that is needed for splicing the cables, terminating and testing to make sure they meet the certified type. try Structured Cabling Installers we use them for all our cabling and very reasonable compaired to other suppliers

We have the the general AUP on Ctrl + Alt Del but i wanted to have a signed copy for any investigations and general IT policy proccedures
-
yeah ive created a pdf that will email a copy to a mail box but my issue is we dont use email clients its all web based so people then get propted again about sending it in an email ect.. just trying to limit the amount of silly "i cant understand how to follow instructions" that we are all faced with

How to others manage your users signing the aup? ideally would want to do it electronicly
-
most people would like to know the school they would be applying for before applying

uncheck only local networks and it should work if not there are some settings you can tweak in library>server>caching>config
-
on your mac server you need to add the vlans as a network then in the config of the caching server add the interfaces - thats what ive done on mine and its working a treat
-
ive gone through the config page and have no address in the exchange but am still seeing the error? is there anything hardcoded that i may need to apply?
