Quick User Guide on How to Add/Remove/Edit Permissions in SIMs

Hi All,

 

I have done a quick search on this before posting - I have also logged a support case - but Capita seem to use System Manager 6 which I was told is not supported (at least I think I was told this.....).

 

However my query - how do I find out what permissions are required to edit/add a new group and how do I go about manipulating this.....

 

I want to do 2 separate things.

 

I want to allow staff "Read Only" access to Cover Manager

 

I want to allow staff access to InTouch to be able to send SMS messages to students/staff

 

Is all this achievable in System Manager or somewhere else in SIMs?

Just be aware there are hidden permissions with Sims 'groups' that are linked to these default categories that cannot be replicated in a 'user' own group.
