Who is using the VeryPC Flex?

We are looking at ordering some computers and have been really impressed with VeryPC. Loving the cable lock on the back of the flex. That will be a blessing.

 

But they seem kinda loud with the idle noise (Fan). Does anyone else have a full suite of these? Are they too loud or am i just picking up on it as it is in our office?

I had the same problem with the two we bought. They were put in the Workshop so it's not an issue but they definitely aren't quiet PCs. We are looking at buying PCs for a new IT suite and I won't be considering the flex because a room full would be very loud. I've been considering the Glide AIO and Nano Sketch from VeryPC instead.

We've had a suite for about two years now. Only recently has the teacher complained about loud fans. I think they may need the old air duster treatment. I certainly don't think the room is loud at all.

 

Still, personally I've moved to and prefer the more complete all in one solutions like their Clip Touch model. Last computers we bought were the Stone non-touch version of that model and have been very well received - pupils and staff love them and we don't seem to be getting the damage we'd seen with more traditional desktops.

We have 5 suites of these, well, the Novatech (same case) version and they are silent. i3 3.40, 8gb, 120gb ssd

I must say ours are pretty quiet, ofcourse everyone can spec themselves, so different ones produce more heat and others have duster rooms etc

We do have a suite full of the Flex, very happy with them. I'll agree they are a little loud, especially as it is a particular small room they're in but they're otherwise bulletproof.

Hi mate,

Thanks for the feedback. I'm sorry to hear about the noise from the fan; it's something we'd like to investigate. They should be no louder than the typical threshold of human hearing in Db levels. Feel free to email me to move this forwards.
