Projection screen

Hi all,

 

After battling our screen dating from the Romans and only just winning, I've decided that we are going to replace it.

 

Does anyone have any recommendations over reasonably large screens? Size we're after is something close to 3000mm x 2750mm.

Last well, the remote isn't amazing but has survived for several years. Not overpriced.

Fast fold screens. All day every day. The hire industry doesn't use anything else.

I think I'll drop the sizing slightly as for what it will used for the above measurements are a bit overkill. It only really comes out for functions in the Atrium (Theatre + Sports hall have fixed, motorised screens)

 

I don't think we'll be able to justify the price tag that the fast-fold screens come in at. ~£600 for fast-fold, ~£50 for tripod based (reasonable reviews from the tripod one too). Tripod one is ever so slightly smaller.

 

Aside from explaining that the fast-fold will be sturdier and more durable than the tripod, I can't think of anything else to put forward to my line manager/bursar - any thoughts

There are floor standing screens, nicer than tripod but cheaper than fast-fold. Not sure if they go large enough for what you need, but worth a look. Sapphire Pull-up Screen - 198 x 111cm (16:9) - (SFL200WSF)
