How to allow a website at certain times during the day

Hi,

 

i'm not familiar with using smooth-wall, currently youtube.com is being blocked for our students, how can i allow students to access youtube.com at certain times of the day? could someone point me in the right direction on how to do this please?

First off, create a time slot with the time you want

 

Guardian » Policy objects » Time slots

 

Then use the policy wizard

 

Guardian » Web filter » Policy wizard

 

Who - Who you want to have access

What - Youtube (It's in the category list)

Where - I usually just use Everywhere

When - The time slot you created

Action - Allow

 

Tick enable Policy then click confirm

 

Then you need to change the priority of the policy so its above any block actions

 

Guardian » Web filter » Manage policies

 

Drag the new policy before any block actions.
