[FMS] "An error occured while attempting to initialize the Borland Database Engine"

When clicking on a sales ledger we get the following message:

"An error occured while attempting to initialize the Borland Database Engine (error $210D)"

 

Any ideas? First I have across this one!

Is this a new install? Normally any BDE errors are linked to a bad/missing install etc.

Rename the FMSSQL folder in program files. and reinstall FMS, should fix it

If its been an install with Solus it often doesn't install the BDE, try resending the install. I had that issue but cant remember if it was with the same error code.

Make sure when you run BDE Administrator you are running it as an administrator or when you try to save the new values it just hangs.
