You can use frame based redirect on 123-reg to the current Wix url but it wont be ideal. They are charging to put in the dns entries I suspect and when you link a domain you have to change your dns servers on the 123-reg to point to theirs. 1

I personally cant stand 1and1 and would avoid!

The only way that could have worked before was using iframe or redirection and it wont give you something.com/test.htm it would be the redirected url.

sidewinder Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Slight thread hijack - I currently use CS New Media for my personal site and the renewal is coming up, they charge £10 + vat which seems pointless paying if I can get it for £3.49 at 123 - is it worth changing purely for price or too much hassle? Never actually changed registrar before

Fasthosts brings down Edugeek - and leaves it there • The Register LOL fair play I didnt know that and thankfully only registered a single domain with them as they were cheap, its redirecting to the website fine too atm. 123-reg used to be cheap, but since webfusion took them over I noticed a bit of price creep myself.

They are actually the same price for .co.uk normally, fasthosts just have a promo on right now. .com is 50p different ex promo price too.
