Arthur Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 Somehow I don't think this is going to be a good movie. https://twitter.com/paulfeig/status/560178147954421760 Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon. http://snag.gy/B34rt.jpg
Crumpet Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 It's going to be just another soulless 80's re-make. I remember seeing the original in the cinema when i was a kid and people were actually getting up and cheering at the end of the movie, i've never seen it in a cinema since or in any other movie. Paul Feig's attempts to claim it's going to be a hillarious comedy before a script has even been written was a huge red flag too. It's up to the audiences to judge whether it's actually funny or not. I think it's going to be a stinker.
MYK-IT Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...... don't cross the streams.... Oh too late

I think it's going to be a stinker. When I saw Hitchcock people cheered, even though it was me, my girlfriend and an elderly couple as the only ones watching. It was me who cheered. In all fairness, I'm a Hitchcock fan The other one people have cheered in is les miserable On Topic: This looks awful. Needs more Emma Stone. Edited January 28, 2015 by Bradlys
alameals Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 I've give up all hope of Hollywood not remaking/rebooting my childhood favourite movies, I'll just sit here and try and pretend they don't exist
Mr_Jiminy Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 You've gotta love the studio accountants Considering Harold Ramis is no longer with us, there wasn't really much of a direction to go in other than a reboot for the new youth of today.
