Re Freecycle; I use Outlook to direct all the posts to a separate folder and so if I don't have the time to look at them I just delete the lot and it doesn't interfere with my normal emails.

Freecycle is great though - and as I have said before - I get rid of old kit (yes, even monitors) on it quite regularly, as well as picking up useful stuff for home and work (including a VHS recorder!)

 

And I am a tech and I care about soap and shampoo!!

You can set Freecycle to email a summary. I get two or three a day listing all the latest offerings. It's in the profiles.
