Find files in one folder that are not in another?

I've got two folders...

 

How do I create a list of files that are in one folder but not the other?

Pretty sure you can do this with Robocopy, using /L or the /LOG+: commands

I had to do the following:

 

1. Use SizeExplorer to create file listings of the two folders.

 

2. Create an Excel file with the following columns

 

(From folder one)

Column A -> File Name

Column B -> File Path

 

(From folder two)

Column C -> File Name

 

I could then use conditional formatting with formula = =ISNA(MATCH(A1,$C$1:$C$37700,0))

 

to highlight all the files in folder one that are not in folder two.

 

Seems to work

 

WinMerge etc would n't work as folder one and two have differing sub folders....

install cygwin, create a list for each directory using find and then use diff on the two lists.
