I've suddenly gained a weird problem with my SCCM 2012 server - it simply will not boot into the OSD properly on a Lenovo T410.

It gets to the "Starting network" part then reboots, having failed.

The boot image definitely has the driver for the laptop in it - it has imaged the laptop before, along with a few others!

Its very odd. Everything was working perfectly before the holiday, but when we got back, none of our task sequences would work. I had to create a new one for a HP Probook 6570b, for example. However, when I'd done that, it worked fine on that machine.

Another example, we have 3 VeryPC ThinBooks. We imaged 2 successfully, but the final one (which was imaging at the same time) refused to image, and now the same thing as on the T410 happens on all of them.

I'm still pretty noobish at SCCM, so anyone got an idea as to what has caused this and how to fix it?

Well, after finally managing to get a log file off one of them, it all became clear - the machines all had acquired weird BIOS GUIDs on their records, so when they reported in with their real GUID, SCCM replied that there wasn't a task sequence available.

Where they got these GUIDs from, who knows? We add machines using their MAC addresses!
