elsiegee40 Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 I am chief spider remover at home and work... they just don't bother me at all. 1
CAM Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 True. I suppose it could be simplified to "Be cool, people might be watching"... But it doesn't have the same emotion to it. Be cool, organic lifeforms are watching. Maybe some mechanical ones too.
witch Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 I love spiders - but if you want to use lemon juice or conkers to keep them away, that's fine - but please don't hurt them. I'd much rather have spiders in the house than flies - they carry all sorts of disease and nastiness 1
Sunnyknight Posted January 11, 2015 Author Posted January 11, 2015 So today, i moved everything out of my upstairs rooms, (while checking everything down to my socks 1 by 1), took up every rooms carpet and underlay, and conducted an investigation into the missing spider. It took all day, but i DIDN'T FIND IT!!!!!! I am now bricking doodies as its not dead, and not in the rooms. I started lobbing conkers all over the place and waited with my vacuum outside the rooms. Didnt work. Now going to get my super soaker, fill it up with lemon juice and spray it around the room. See if i can flush it out 😢
witch Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 I should imagine it has gone by now. I don't think you need to worry any more.

Theblacksheep Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 We got a house cat and have barely seen a spider since. Not that was the intention, I like spiders, total housebro's.

ataylor Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 I lived out in Australia for 4 months, god there was some beastly spiders out there. Half of them look big enough to saddle.
