joesheehan7221 Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 Hi All Having a very weird issue with a pc. Said PC has been set to mute using the settings in the task bar, but when the clock changes and moves onto the next minute, the PC unmutes itself! Very bizar, has only just started happening and isn't happening anywhere else! As always, thats in advance for any help PC is running windows 7, and is plugged into an amp using the audio out on the motherboard
adamsund Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Hi Joe, Not sure if it's linked or not but we've been having almost exactly the same problem. Not sure about if it happens when the clock changes but it could well be. We're not sure exactly what it is yet but it seemed to coincide with updating our Impero clients. I haven't looked into it any further yet as we haven't had any complaints. Ring any bells?
KEVIA Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Hi Joe, The issue is caused by Impero. You will find that if you disable the Impero services, your problem will disappear. We haven't raised an issue with Impero yet, but id imagine its a bug they need to fix. Regards
adamsund Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 This started happening after we upgraded to version 4.1.26. The latest version is currently 4.2.19. Although we were told that we could not update to the latest version as there was a problem with client automatic updating in future versions, which meant we have to update all clients to 4.1.26 before updating further! Looking through the update logs, there's nothing that mentions this fault specifically, but I'm sure they've been made aware and fixed this previously (you'd hope!).
