Case fans - where to buy?

Hi all,

 

A few of our case fans (60mm) are starting to get a bit noisy, and a few arguably could start to become a distraction in the classroom.

 

Just wondering if anyone had any recommendations on where to buy components from? If not will just get them from eBuyer!

We bought a load of Akasa fans (80mm) from Misco last summer, much quieter than the originals, paid £2.54 each

Are they dusty? You may laugh, but in my old techsup days I found that a clean fan runs a lot quieter than a dusty fan. Of course, if the bearing is shot, it'll need replacement, but don't dismiss cleaning them.

The ones I looked at and cleaned were still noisy afterwards - would rather just replace now than clean the others on the off chance they'll run quiet again
