srblhs Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 We are subscribed to DL Online - Login for ICT. We can access the resources ok but we cannot view the tests for pupils/staff/admins in IE11. We have tried IE9 with the same outcome. A blank screen! The tests display in Chrome but our preferred and default browser for pupils is IE so we need to resolve the issue in IE ideally. Has anyone any suggestions or perhaps you have experienced this issue as well and can advised? Thanks in advance!

srblhs Posted November 28, 2014 Author Posted November 28, 2014 Yes we have all of those sites unblocked within our filter. The performance of the site is good. Quick to navigate and not waiting for pages to load. We would prefer to use IE but DL couldn't offer us a solution for IE to work.
jcookhgs Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Old thread resurrection time! We are trying to get this working in Chrome (latest version) and all the content works apart from the start test button in the tests. Clicking on this does nothing, all the above sites are unblocked via our smoothwall. Bit of a strange one really. Anyone else had any similar issues?
Reverend_Dan Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Yup, now only works in IE and not in chrome for the tests. Last time I rang the helpline a couple of years ago they were very unhelpful and said I was the only one having issues. I've just double checked ours and it now works in chrome. Only thing we have changed is recently we ran into issues with our proxy. There is an issue with squid over the number of connections it tries which was giving us issues logging on to 365 or getting mail attachments as part of their CDN was saying no to us as it was somewhere else in the world and this was causing random drop outs. Equiinet fixed this and upped the connections. I wonder if something to do with CDNs on this as when investigated it last time it was because of parts of the web page loading before others. 1
jcookhgs Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Here's the kicker though now. Exact same version of chrome on my home machine (and thus unfiltered) and the start test button works.
jcookhgs Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 No. Everything works OK in Chrome except for the tests. These do work in Google Chrome/Safari on ipads so that's our temp solution for now.
PHHSTech Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 I have the same problem here on some machines and not others. They are all running the latest version of Chrome. When you click on the test button it does nothing on a handful of machines. When you click on Tests on other machines it works fine. So what is different? I rebuilt one of the "dodgy" machines and after that it worked for a while but now has stopped working again. On the same machine, there were problems using annotation in kerboodle but works on others. Related?? All using same javascript version. Is it a Windows update that's upset it? Spent days investigating . Has anybody found an answer. Hoping.... Thanks.
PHHSTech Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 Just had this reply from Dynmaic Learning Had this reply from Dynamic Learning : We don’t particularly recommend using Chrome anymore so you could try using a different browser. If that doesn’t resolve the issue then is the school using WatchGuard? As we understand it, WatchGuard by default will block/remove HTTP headers it considers dangerous, including ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’. This can cause some issues with tests not working. The fix is to add Access-Control-Allow-Origin:* rule under HTTP Response >> Header Fields to the WatchGuard box. Please let me know if this doesn’t resolve it.
hulsey1997 Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 Hi there, I was just wondering has anyone found a long lasting solution to this issue with Dynamic Learning. We are currently experiencing the same issue where by when using the interactive Quiz's some machines allow you to start the tests and some do not. This is within chrome, IE, and it is so frustrating I can seem to find out why it is happening. Any help would be much appreciated many thanks, Luke.
