HP 5406zl Switch Config file

Hi All,

 

I have discovered just now that I am unable to download the config file for our HP switch from using the web interface.

 

I click on download from the left menu bar under System --> Updates/Downloads page but it does absolutely nothing.

 

How can I download the config file?

 

Just to add, I have tried different browsers to no avail (IE8, 9, 10, 11, Chrome and Firefox)

Easiest way to download the config - log in via telnet/ssh, show config and copy and paste each screen into a text file, until you have it all.

Easiest way to download the config - log in via telnet/ssh, show config and copy and paste each screen into a text file, until you have it all.

 

Or use scp/ftp depends whats enabled in you config.

 

But really you should have access only via ssh and scp, and telnet/ftp should be disabled for obvious reasons.
