What account restrictions do people use for Staff Students Password Complexity. Password age. Do you have students password change the same amount as teachers ? Do you apply your restrictions via the Default Domain Policy or using some other tool ?

I had teachers swearing that they had turned the PC's off when they left, but the were switched back on when they came in the next day. They swore it was ghosts... Turns out it was just my WOL script.

Or use scp/ftp depends whats enabled in you config. But really you should have access only via ssh and scp, and telnet/ftp should be disabled for obvious reasons.

Check the DCHP, DNS settings that the wireless is giving out, anything in the DNS logs ? Sounds like the DHCP server on the Wireless is not sending out the correct DNS settings, i.e. local DNS, is there a seperation on your network, guest and authenticated ?

Have you got any more information, think you missed some out. Document what you have to start with, if there isn't any documentation already. Have you got anything set up on static IP's ? servers , etc.

We use a HP P2000 here, along with HP server and switches. Keeping it all one brand just makes life so much easier.
