[ipad] Meraki - connects but won't push out iPADs

I've created a Meraki Cloud network called "ManagediPADs"

 

I wiped one of our test iPADs and followed the on-device setup and enrolled the iPAD to the network.

 

It appears on the Meraki dashboard (Monitor - Clients option on the web interface.

 

I've logged in to itunes and the app store with a unique apple ID for this iPAD.

 

Meraki Systems Manager fails to install on the iPAD though - it just sits on the iPAD screen with "Waiting" underneath the app icon.

 

Next to the wireless icon on the iPAD is the swirling please wait symbol.

 

Any ideas?

If this happens on mine, I reboot them. The install tends to go through after a reboot.

On Meraki in the Apps section for this iPAD it states:

 

Meraki Systems Manager Meraki, Inc 1.5.0 - - PromptingForLogin

 

 

But on the iPAD itself the prompt appeared to logon to itunes and was done successfully....

If I send a "lock device" command it happens within seconds....

If this happens on mine, I reboot them. The install tends to go through after a reboot.

 

I'll give it a try....

Sadly - still says waiting..

 

I can delete the icon from the screen and then go to the App Store icon and try to re-install it - but same problem

your filtering isn't blocking the app store is it? Mine was and that caused an issue for a bit. Lemme find the URLs to unblock...

 

Unblock these:

 

phobos.apple.com

itunes.apple.com

ax.itunes.apple.com

albert.apple.com

gs.apple.com

apple.com

itunes.com

 

Sometimes I also go to the app store, go on purchased and tell it to download from there. I tend to manually check each ipad because I simply don't trust the technology!!

Most of these were in my filter list - but a couple were not - thanks - will add the missing ones and try again.
