We have a proxy so unable to use the Impero proxy and i would imagine 90% of other schools do to.

Ths means that actions in Chrome cannot be logged.

With IE misbehaving so badly in win 7 recently the default browser for many people has been switched to Chrome.

Isnt it time we get chrome support?

Just type 'most popular internet browser' into google and it will tell you chrome has overtaken IE now.

IF you can get Apple to give you permission to remotely view the ipad screens im sure you can do this.

Hopefully they are working on it . It is the reason we haven't set chrome as our default browser currently.

Same here, Chrome is blocked for students (using Impero ironically) :-)

You would have thought so. Chrome was released over 6 years ago!

I didn't know Google Chrome wasn't supported, so it's just as well we haven't purchased Impero yet especially since everyone uses it at my school.

It is supported if you have transparent proxy in place , you can turn on impero proxy option but if you rely on proxy settings to be entered in then Chrome isn't suppported as they don't have Chrome extension(IE BHO) option.

We use a wpad.dat so I guess we'll have to wait for the Chrome extension.

I've been speaking to them this week about this exact issue as it's a pain the backside, especially as Chrome's a far superior browser than IE (not wanting to start any debates!)... it is due to be released with an update in January, I hope they don't wait until BETT though, as it's too big an issue to hold off for a fancy announcement - it needs to be introduced as soon as it's available... it's not available in their BETA programme yet either...

Hello

First we have supported chrome via Impero proxy for many years but yes in certain configurations Impero proxy had issues interacting with some upstream proxies. As been said earlier yes we have done whole load of work with non ie browsers chrome included. It is due to go to closed beta soon got to finalise a few things this week :). As soon as it is ready for full release it will go out don't worry :)

Noticed along side not supporting chrome, ie11 64 bit isn't supported. Is this to be sorted as well. Like a few of comments above the proxy option isn't a option for us
