Silverlight & WSUS

We use OWA and today users, when they click "reply" to an email are suddenly getting messages to say Silverlight is out of date. The version we have is 5.1.30214.0 which was released in July 2014. I cant find any mention of a newer version on the net.

 

The last update we have in WSUS for Silverlight is also from July 2014.

 

Anyone know if there is a new version of Silverlight and how we get it into WSUS?

Good question. If you do a manual online microsoft update on a client machine you can see that there is a silverlight update available, but i don't recall it being on wsus despite having that product ticked in the option box.

Even MS don't list anything newer than July 2014.

I've had to manually download and install Silverlight 5.1.30514.0 today as our 2 Library machines don't want to play with Eclipse without nagging all the time.

 

Nothing in WSUS that's recent either =(

Sorry to set this off again. We have 5.1.30214 installed, and I want WSUS to deploy 5.1.30514. I have approved the update in WSUS, but it claims machines either don't require the update or have it. I have unapproved 5.1.30214 from WSUS in case that was causeing the problem, still no joy. Any thoughts?

Hmmm, I believe it maybe that I need the 'Update Rollup' version? My WSUS only has the feature pack, which only installs if I manually remove silverlight from the PC first, is this correct, that I need the rollup?
