Shamster Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Hi All, We have Purchased Sibelius 7.5, we will be using them on Macs and Windows Machine. This may be a stupid question! But is it possible to Run the Sibelius Server on our Mac server and Allow the Windows PCs as well as the iMacs to connect to the Server?
Sibrows Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Are you talking about the sibelius license server?
Shamster Posted November 11, 2014 Author Posted November 11, 2014 Are you talking about the sibelius license server? Yes, the license server
Sibrows Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Yes, the license server Then yes you can. As long as the Windows clients can see the Mac server then theres no reason you can't use the Mac server. We use a Windows server as, for us, it's easier to spread the load across our virtual servers. Full documentation is included in the license server downloads: Sibelius Licence Server Updates

Full documentation is included in the license server downloads: Sibelius Licence Server Updates We have purchased 25 licenses for now, 14 for the iMacs and 9 for windows 7 PCs, the support phone number for Sibelius is horrendous, it took over 1hr 30mins to speak to them.
Oddbod Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Support is now in the US, after Avid killed the local uk support site… bloody americans (I'll avoid ranting about this, see my other post re: Sibelius support)
