RJcreatives Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 Hi all, We have an issue with Capita SIMS. Basically when we open SIMS there is a button in the top right corner named 'Documentation'. When we click it, an error appears in the bottom corner telling us that the Index file is missing. Has anyone seen this before? If so any advice would be very helpful. Thanks, Rob
zebulunn Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 I think this changed with the Spring release. It should now be pointing to a Capita hosted online portal. If you want to host the files locally, need to download the documentation pack from Capita and upload it to the SIMS server, and repeat after each new release.
Linfit Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 We have had this. It expects to find a file called index.html in the sims\documentation folder. If this file is missing, you get this error. On our system, it turned out that our documentation had originally been in S:sims\documentation\documentation and so it couldn't find it and failed.
RJcreatives Posted October 23, 2014 Author Posted October 23, 2014 That also seems to be the case on our system. Did you manage to get it working? I have made a copy of the Index file so that it is in sims\documentation on our sims server, but it des not seem to have made a difference.
Ghostgame Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 Run SIMSCentralServerSetup.exe from the setups folder. That will fix the issue. 2
RJcreatives Posted October 23, 2014 Author Posted October 23, 2014 Silly me, turns out that it wasnt working after the fixes I tried because I did not have the correct drive mapped.
