6Foot2 Posted October 16, 2014 Author Posted October 16, 2014 When I was born: THE F.A. CUP FINAL Burnley v. Tottenham Hotspur Highlights of the great match introduced and reported by Kenneth Wolstenholme in an edited film version Edited by Lawrie Higgins Presented by Richard Tilling Yes I am that old.
unixman_again Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 Champion the Wonder Horse, What's My Line? (sadly not the US version - see youtube for clips) and The Epilogue. I've long thought they should bring back The Epilogue.
Seb1780 Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 I don't consider myself to be old, but this makes me feel ancient. At the time I was born there was nothing on, not in a modern "there's nothing on TV" way, I mean literally nothing. In those days there was only one channel and on a Sunday it didn't start until 1030.
gmj Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 Yep....I was born about 4 AM....TV had finished then back in the 70's.
