denmyos Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 I'm suddenly getting this error during deployment. I't seems that I have all the rigth drivers in mdt, but I'm still getting this error. When I install the NIC driver directly into the OS, and i reboot the computer the deployment will finish, but with errors. This is the NIC driver I'm using. ; ** COPYRIGHT © 2007-2013 Realtek CORPORATION ; ; Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller ; Realtek PCI GBE Family Controller ; Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller ; [version] Signature = "$Windows NT$" Class = Net ClassGUID = {4d36e972-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318} Provider = %Realtek% DriverVer = 06/18/2013,7.073.0618.2013 CatalogFile.NT = rt86win7.cat [Manufacturer] %Realtek%=Realtek, NTx86 [ControlFlags] ExcludeFromSelect = * [Realtek.NTx86] ; 8169 Cardbus Jumbo 7k ; remeber to remove from OEM INF list %RTL8169.DeviceDesc% = R8169C7k.ndi, PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8169&SUBSYS_03351154 ; 8169 S-32 %SMC9452TX.DeviceDesc% = RTL8169.ndi, PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8169&SUBSYS_EE221113 I've tryed using using this tutorial MDT 2012: Missing network drivers during LTI boot | Scriptimus Ex Machina But i'm still getting the same error. I'm not sure which drive this is is. Pci\ven_10EC&DEV_8168&SUBSYS_308917AA&REV_04 when i google it i'm not getting anything use full. (that could just be me not being able to read pci\ven........ correctly)
Davit2005 Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 (edited) We deploy our drivers by using a WMI query and selection profiles. Is that similar to what you are doing?? There is a different Inject Drivers task for each model which uses a selection profile and the WMI query installs the drivers depending on this. What hardware is it for by the way??? GRitchie Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 From what I can see it looks like it's the network card driver - I've had this in the past, just look up the driver on the laptop manufacturers website, add it to the OOB drivers folder and then ensure you update the deployment share.

That's what I'm doing. The driver works when I install it directly in the OS, but when I extract the driver with Backupdriver and import it into OOBD, (i have also implemented the correct drivere directly into OOBD) it does not work when I deploy the OS. And I have also updated the deployment share from scratch.

I don't make a WMI query (a little to advanced for me), but I do have selection profiles, where my driveres are selectet, they are also selected in my TS. What hardware is it for by the way??? Lenovo m78 PS. I'm not pxebooting, I'm using a USB to boot from. My PXEbooting is still not working.

I just tried to deploy a Dell 390. change selection profiles to Dell 390 in both TS and in Windows PE-> drivers and patches. The deployment went straigth through with no error what so ever. denmyos Posted October 16, 2014 Author Posted October 16, 2014 (edited) I'M A IDIOT!!!!!! I SPEND A DAY AND A HALF TO FIGUR OUT THIS PROBLEM. It turned out that I had disable the driver folder. :( Which leads to a new question. Is there a way you can see if a folder is Enable or disable without going into the folder to check.? denmyos Posted October 24, 2014 Author Posted October 24, 2014 (edited) apparently I'm still having NIC driver issues. HRESULT=80070002 Any help would be appreciated, I'm really getting behind scheduled. Hmmm, this is weird. When I try to deploy a Lenovo M78 I get a "A connection to the deployment share (xxxxxxxxxxx....) could not be made. No networking devices were found on this machine!" And it only happens to the M78, not to other Lenovo computers. So how do I force a NIC driver on to my USB stick (which I use for booting) that fits the M78. Edited October 24, 2014 by denmyos
denmyos Posted October 26, 2014 Author Posted October 26, 2014 (edited) Here is a link to the dism.log I have a lot of errors in it. http://1drv.ms/1xoMnt9 - - - Updated - - - Here is a link to the dism.log I have a lot of errors in it. http://1drv.ms/1xoMnt9 I have done a little testing. I took the boot.wim from my USBstick which I use for deploying. Copying the boot.wim to my client c:\ and mount it. Looked through the filerepository and found the .inf driver file and installed it through the device manager and it worked.?? So the driver are on the boot.wim and they are working. So why won't they install during deployment? Edited October 26, 2014 by denmyos
