Hi all,

We seem to be having an issue in SIMS with one specific student.

Our photographs are taken at the start of Y7 and then again in Y9. This student is in Y8 and missed the initial Y7 photograph, so a new one has been taken to be put in SIMS.

Everytime any of us try to upload it, the image rotates 90 Degrees clockwise and distorts completely. It's driving me nuts! No other students have this same issue, I've even tried the same photograph on a different student and it worked fine!

I have also tried rotating the image 90 degrees anti-clockwise and then uploading. It goes in the right way around, but still distorts horribly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Matt

I do know that SIMS seems to use the image embedded thumbnail rather than the image itself - try running it through a metadata stripper and then try again.

Interesting.

What happens if you run a report that pulls out photograph, is it still rotated?

Do you normally bulk import your photos? if you did this one manually, try using the bulk importer.
