Windows updates

Found a bunch of Pc's that have not been updating.

I'm talking no service pack 1.

What wold be the best way to update them with out taking them out of service for ages while they update and reboot? I take it with the about of updates they need it will be a long process?

WSUS if you're not already using it.

There are various reason why SP1 won't install. e.g. graphics card drivers out of date, AV client not up to date.

 

I would run an online MS update scan and check drivers first, also install all other updates (not SP1) to help identify why SP1 won't install.
