Looping Builds on HP machines

We've got a few HP DX5150 SFF machines that we're rebuilding in a bit of a shuffle round. They are mostly all looping on the XP install part of the build.

 

Is this a driver issue. I had three machines building for two days and eventually they went through. I've used these setup disks many times before.

What imaging software are you using to build them with?

We're on a RM CC3 so we're using the RM build process using floppy discs.

Network connections fine, all the hardware was fine before we rebuilt.

Have you added the Motherboard, Graphics, Sound and Network Drivers to the Workstation Build Manager?

 

Trying to build a workstation without the correct drivers installed can cause random build problems.

Also, try creating your build disks from a different server if you can to rule out the disk being at fault.

Not sure about RM but I usually find doing a Windows repair using an XP CD will resolve this issue with other imaging software.
