Low Disk Space

Hello

 

I seem to be facing an unusual error whereby just one particular user account is told there is low space on the home area and 2 other map drives when logging on.

 

Everybody else is absolutely fine.

 

Any suggestions?

Have you got quotas enabled for that user?

Glad you guys made me look in the right place : )

 

It's a relatively new network to me, didn't even realise there were quotas in place but a quick Google search on how to check such a thing and I found the entries.

 

Fairly self explanatory and problem already solved.

It may have been that that particular user tends to put up a lot of rubbish and your predecessor put the quota on to limit this! On the plus side, at least your user noticed - on one of my sites one sole user must have had a heck of a job saving anything due to the quota (which I was unwilling to up as most of it was "personal") and never queried it.
