mattx Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 Just wondering what FREE compression apps people use [ if any ] for their networks and students ? [ I personally use winrar, but what would be good for an app on a network ? ]
contink Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 7zip is my preferred one for deployment but then I haven't really looked all that hard.
webman Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 7zip for us. But students use integrated ZIP handling in Win Explorer.
MkII Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 jzip uses the 7zip engine with the added bonus of a more user friendly interface. The only problem with deploying 7zip is that it's not that friendly. We're also using zipgenius - another user friendly option
