[mdt] MDT Background

Trivial question but how do I change the wallpaper in MDT?

It currently is the 'Microsoft Solution Accelerators' one, and I made some adjustments (shown below) but it doesn't change anything?

I may be completely wrong and this may be the wrong way to configure this anyway!

Perhaps specify it locally on the MDT server?

nope ive just replaced it with random internet images to annoy people thing it needs to be a jpeg thoug

Make sure you change both x86 and x64 (in the dropdown at the top)

 

And then "Update Deployment Share" - If you're using WDS to load the LiteTouch image you'll need to re-import it.

You don't know how to adjust the name do you?

Where it currently says 'IT Organization' then 'Running: Lite Touch Installation'

I want 'IT Organization' to say the company name?

You would of thought it would be a simple field in the properties? Nope!

 

I used the method described here to change it:

They make you go around the houses to do the simplest of things...

Open the customsettings.INI and add

_SMSTSOrgName=Blah

 

That is all that is needed....
