Filters not working on ADP reports

Problem

When running the ADP user credential reports and using the filters for year groups the reports return no data

Solution

This will be resolved in the Autumn 2014 release.

Please upgrade to this release once it is available

Workaround

 

Reports | Design Report | Create a new report

Click on Contact, click next

Select Addressee, AddressBlock of the home address [AddressBlock], Salutation

Double click on Students and select Year group of the student [Year]

Click on Students and then click on the red book

Click New, expand Student, expand Registration, click on Year group and then tick the Prompt at runtime tick box

Click OK

Click on the Salutation [The Contact's Salutation]

Double click on AD Provisioning and chose User Logon Name and Initial Password

Click Next, next, next and then next

Give the report a title and then click Finish

Click Save my report

Give the report a name and take the tick out of the private tick box

Click OK

Click close

Click yes

 

You will now be able to run the report and filter on the year group

The workaround will take my admin team hours for a bulk project (like ALL new year 7's), they are not happy.

What will take them any longer than the previous approach? Is there something that can be tweaked in the report?

There is a patch being produced that can be applied via SOLUS3.

I obtained this from Capita support last week, resource number 23379. Apparently it was released 10 October.

I can confirm that a patch is available. The change is also incorporated into the autumn release out shortly.
