I completely forgot about that... gonna have a "fresh air" break then watch that while I'm waiting for 32-bit 8.1 to download.

If the socks are randomly distributed in the drawer (i.e. not in pairs or any other grouping), and you are blindfolded, what is the minimum number socks you must draw from the drawer in order to be certain you have at least 2 socks of the same colour?

Trick question, its impossible to pick out two matching socks from a drawer (at least in my house).

Yeah - as soon as I thought about it in terms of what's the largest number of socks i can draw that will stop me having a pair the answer leapt out.
