Direct from the article...about Rude Dog. 80's Cartoons Part 3 - M-Z My pet monster - to yogis treasure hunt

Rude Dog and the Dweebs – 1989-1990 – Bizarre idea for a cartoon. It’s about a hip dog who acts a little like Andrew Dice. Clay has one hot pink eye and one black eye while his pointy ears are pink and green , he tooled around in a hot pink Cadillac and said cool things , he also ran an auto body shop that he lived above with some friends – fellow dogs ( the dweebs of the title ) whom he sprang from a dog pound car – sounds a lot like Foofur ). The dogs were Caboose , Winston who had a monocle tucked into his collar, Barney, Reggie , Satch , and Tweek a chihuahua. The villain was a vicious cat by the name of Seymour whose cohert was named Rot. Totally different animation form – the dogs had wee pin prick eyes to offset their form which looked like something out of the Far Side comic strip and the whole thing was probably too cool for it’s own good because it only lasted one season 26 episodes.

The problem with the likes of Hector and Spike, is over the years they changed colours and collars etc So it was a toss up betweent he two, though maybe i should have cheated.

Oh just to point out I haven't actually entered the competition so no cheating here :p

Considering there doesn't appear to be any other reference anywhere to the dog being called clay I'd hardly call that a trustworthy source, show me a video of the actual episode and I could believe it otherwise I'd go with a source such a IMDB or basically what ever list of dawgs net-ctrl has as the answers anyway.

Hello all,

Thanks again for taking the time to take part in this final activity, it was certainly the most enjoyable to put together.

My Managing Director, Tony Pullon, has taken to the stage again for this weeks draw.

The answer we were looking for were:

1. Spunky – Rocko’s Modern Life

2. Rude dog - Rude dog and the Dweebs

3. Brain - Inspector Gadget

4. Spike - Rugrats

5. Muttley - Wacky Races

6. Scrappy Do – Scrappy Doo and Scooby Doo

7. Dug - Up

8. Astro - The Jetsons

9. Hector the Bulldog - Looney Tunes

10. Huckleberry Hound – The Huckleberry Hound Show

11. Brian Griffin - Family Guy

12. Clifford - Clifford the Big Red Dog

13. Spot - Spot the Dog

14. Droopy - Droopy

15. Pluto - Mickey Mouse

After evidence was given towards answer 2, we decide to also accepted 'Clay'. We did also review how close Hector and Spike were for answer 9, but decided to go with just Hector (sorry to anyone who put Spike).

We had a number of people get all 15 correct, who were all entered into the draw.

Without any further delay, the winner of our final Ruckus dog giveaway was: @win

Please send me your preferred shipping address on a PM, and i will get this sorted for you asap :)

Thank you again to everyone that took part in this activity and those over the last few weeks

Thanks Net-Ctrl, and to Tony Pullon for picking win out of the bowl

:

Thank you for taking part in it all.

So, with our final winner announced that brings our activities to a close :(

I've had fun making them all up, and I hope those of you that took part found them to be a nice small break from your working day.

As i have mentioned before, we wanted to run these activities to announce our Ruckus partner status, but also as a way to say thank you to the Edugeek community.
