Youtube for Schools has stopped working

Hi all,Our issue is a very annoying one. We are setup with youtube for schools and it was working perfectly until recently. For some reason, students can now see the full version of youtube, instead of the educational version.

We use Smoothwall as our firewall and they have been dialled in for hours trying to solve it. The did manage to hide all the comments so we know that the connection between the two is working fine.

I am not sure if it is a problem with youtube for schools as a whole or just our account, but it would be a massive help if anyone could give us some guidance.

PM me your youtube for schools ID (the 23 character string at youtube.com/account_school).

I don't need anything else to test it.

We've had a similar issue with another customer this week so I suspect this feature has gone all Beta again.

Our filtering company informed us that there are known issues with Youtube for schools and kids getting full Youtube access.

A work around is to tell your teachers about quietube. If you add the word quiet before the youtube.com/**** you only get the video. e.g https://www.quietyoutube.com/watch?v=Ji40f31J3UI
