TAPESTRY App - crashing when running behind a proxy

We have several Samsung tablets, all of which have the same problem with an app called Tapestry. When the devices are in school the app crashes as it posts an observation:

 

Exception Class Name: Java.util.MissingFormatArgumentException

 

Its at a point where its trying to access the internet / Tapestry servers.

 

When tested off-site, they all work ok, so we are presuming there's an issue communicating through the school proxy. Tapestry support say that they can find nothing in the logs, so we are stuck.

 

Any ideas / advice most welcome.....

Wondered if you managed to get this resolved. I've been asked to look at Tapestry but we have a proxy so don't want to go down that route if it's a known problem.

If you contact tapestry they will let you know which port and address you need to authorise on your proxy. It works fine for me at our school, I had to unblock a few things from the server.

We've had a few problems with it recently. I contacted them and they told me it was because they had had a large influx of new users.

 

You can get a free trial of Tapestry. It's really competitively priced and when it works it is really good.
