With the big release day coming tomorrow who is going to be waiting in the line for the iPhone.

Nope. The iphone got a slating on the Gadget Show the other week - basically they concluded that all it was good for was a photo slideshow because you can whizz through them using your finger  (Oh wow). On-screen keypad sucked, camera sucked, no video, no GPS, no changeable battery. They were comparing it to the N95 though.

They're good if you're an apple fanboy though and want to feel "part of the crowd" :p

Part of the "I have iphone but no EDGE/WiFi so no email or web crowd" :p

Does look a very nice phone and has that wow factor but the best commentary I have heard is that it is a spectacular, impressive fab phone. For America. The hype says more about the state of play of Americas handset market than the greatness of the iPhone.

Though having seen the new HTC TyTN II I think I've seen my next phone! Well probably not but oh well.

Anyone who buys one at £269 + £35pm needs a brain transplant. Nice toy for people with more money than sense. I'll stick with my present phone (N95) thank you very much.

Every time someone buys an Apple product some little kid in a sweat shop in Thailand or wherever has to work a bit harder for his $0.25c a day.....

Transplant?... surely you mean a brain implant... There has to be something there to start with for a transplant..

... I suspect the above says where I'm spending my money ;)..

Doesn't that describe the typical apple fanboy demographic? ;)

Picture in the paper today of two blokes starting to queue at 8:30 yesterday morning. Both sat on their quickie chairs with their Apple laptops

Seriously, why do people do this?

Nokia did a superb job with the N95, so anyone who gets the iPhone does need shooting. Just waiting to here what the "next-gen" Nokia will be come upgrade time in April for me. I wont use anything else but Nokia, purely for ease of use, and everything just...works!
