Wifi cctv any ideas?

Hi All,

 

I need to get some cctv as some little **** is stealing bits off my car.

 

I need it to record at night as well as the day,

need it to record the video to an external hard drive or free cloud storage.

needs to be wifi

 

any suggestions?

Sorry just noticed wifi - never found a good reliable one im afraid - I always go cabled with cameras as it will always drop at a bad time!

Assuming you've got power where the camera will be...

 

We've done IPCamera ---> AP <--wireless bridge--> AP-----> main network here.

 

It's been up for roughly 8 months without issue, using a pair of these: LinITX.com - MikroTik RouterBoard Groove A-5Hn with RouterOS Level 4 with an omni directly attached at each end.
