Trapper Posted June 21, 2014 Author Posted June 21, 2014 I'm testing the extended support updates. Running manual installs on a VM first, then slipping them into WSUS. Going 7 from August, but now I have access to the updates I may as well make my XP clients as safe as possible for the next 5 weeks (unlike the last 9 weeks!)

Michael Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 I don't think it's necessarily application software which is the limiting factor - I think 'some' admins still find migrating OSes daunting for whatever reasons. There are big differences between XP and 7, especially when you factor in server differences too with the likes of 2003 R2 and 2008 R2 for example.
