A lot of the features in Ruckus were originally designed for the educational environment which helps however when were looking at becoming a reseller for one or the other, Ruckus gave the better support and are cheaper (by quite a lot). I have experience of both systems and I certainly prefer the Ruckus management side of it to the Meru as well as it just seemed easier to use etc.
