Joanne Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 I've had a shufty on the site and I can't find anything about it. I'm using CLEO lightspeed internetz and I can't access the play store on my Nexus 7. I've got it as a bit of a test to see if android can do the same as iOS in the classroom. How can I unblock the play store? Are there any specific URL's or IP addresses that I can unblock?
LeMarchand Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Not exactly, but on the local (Hants) filter the App Store doesn't appear to work, and nor does YouTube (though it does on Windows machines, iPads and even a Blackberry Playbook). Never been enough of an issue (so far) to take it further.
Joanne Posted June 10, 2014 Author Posted June 10, 2014 gutted. I was hoping to trial this android and to perhaps look at getting a bank of these in the future. If I can't get the play store to work though... then there's no point. Gonna e-mail the LEA.

Tesla Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 less having trouble, more curious, I haven't touched android/youtube at work for a while now, purely as there is barely a need for it (it was someone's personal tablet that had been broke previously that they wanted a pupil to use)
